The clean bench is a vital laboratory equipment. In fact, in most places, these devices are part of mandatory safety regulations. The purification workbench helps to purify the polluted air inside biological and chemical laboratories.
The purification workbench will purify the air in the laboratory by simply removing toxic and chemical particles and all other chemical and dangerous microorganisms from the air inside the laboratory. The air in any laboratory may be polluted by many harmful pollutants, so it is important to protect laboratory workers from exposure to such low-quality air. Laminar flow hood will be the solution to this problem.
1. Working principle distinction:
The working principle of the horizontal ultra-clean platform and the vertical ultra-clean platform are exactly the same, the difference is only the appearance; from the literal meaning, the wind of the horizontal ultra-clean platform is horizontal and flat. The wind direction of the vertical ultra-clean platform is vertical laminar flow, and the wind blows from top to bottom. To make a simple analogy, the horizontal laminar flow clean bench is like a table fan on the desktop, and the vertical laminar clean bench is like a ceiling fan hung from the ceiling.
2. Cleanliness distinction:
The efficiency of the horizontal ultra-clean stage and the vertical ultra-clean stage are exactly the same, and there is no difference in the level of cleanliness. They are all 209E 100-level purifications that meet the Federal Standards of the United States.
3. The price is distinguished:
In terms of the complexity of materials and workmanship, the vertical ultra-clean workbench is more complicated, and requires more materials and labor, and the price is slightly more expensive than the horizontal one.
4. The difference in the place of use:
Horizontal flow is currently mainly used for food inspection, inoculation tissue culture of flowers, saplings, and edible fungi; vertical laminar flow is used in electronics, chemical, hospital, and pharmaceutical industries. Some toxic and harmful gases will affect human health during the experimental operation of some chemical and pharmaceutical companies, so it seems more appropriate to choose a vertical laminar flow that blows down instead of a horizontal laminar flow.
(1) Before use, turn on the machine 50 minutes in advance, and then turn on the UV lamp for sterilization. After 30 minutes, turn off the UV lamp and start the fan.
(2) No unnecessary items can be stored in the purification work area to ensure that the airflow can flow smoothly and normally.
(3) Before using the workbench, wipe it with an alcohol solution with an alcohol concentration of 75% for disinfection.
(4) After the work is finished, clean the work surface, turn off the fan and lighting switch, use detergents and disinfectants to clean and disinfect the work surface.
(1) After the UV lamp is turned off, the fan must be turned on to dissipate the ozone before the experiment can be carried out, otherwise it cannot be carried out.
(2) The range of motion cannot be too large or too intense, so as not to damage the workbench.
(3) No items can be stacked on the purification workbench, and the air inlet should be kept unblocked.
(4) Items with dust cannot enter the purification area.
(5) When using the alcohol lamp, the alcohol in the alcohol lamp should not be too full, not more than two-thirds of the volume of the alcohol lamp, to prevent the risk of spilling, and to ensure the safety of using fire.
(6) Articles must be taken away in time, and the laboratory must be kept clean.
Xunling provides you both types of Laminar Flow Hoods that meet cleanliness requirements of ISO Class 5 and FS209E 100.
