The welding fume extraction arm/flue can be wall,column,I-beam or bench mounted.Any position will require a solid structure,or possibly supplementary support to support the arm's counterweight.In addition,they can be mounted on booms,rails or filter boxes.Fans can be mounted directly on top of the Arms for single use applications,or they can be connected to the central ductwork and then filtered through a dust/smoke collector or exhausted to the outside.Welding fume extraction arms/flues vary in diameter from 3" to 8" (350 cfm to 1000 cfm) depending on air volume.Arms range in length from 5 feet to 14 feet and feature high efficiency range hoods.They are designed to move smoothly and easily into position to extract contaminated air from the worker's breathing zone.They are durable and require little maintenance.The extraction arm/snorkel is self-supporting,has smooth,low-friction control,and requires the least maintenance of any arm on the market today.

For longer distance applications and where overhead cranes may limit piping system installation,a swing arm is supplied with the jib. These swing arms will extend from 18 feet to 35 feet in length.With very little force,the operator can swing the entire unit from left to right.For long-distance applications,the rails are equipped with arms attached to the trolley.These rail-mounted systems are joined together with splice kits and are available in endless lengths.Again,the operator can move the arm with very little force.
