Use and operation of centrifugal fan

1. Preparation before starting centrifugal fan

1) Close the regulating damper and the inlet and outlet damper of the fan;

2) Manually turn the gear, check the clearance of all parts of the fan, and turn the impeller and casing to see if there is friction;

3) The coupler and pulley protection passport are installed in place;

4) Whether the oil level of the bearing housing meets the lubricating oil level during operation;

5) For fans with water cooling bearings, check whether the water supply of the cooling water pipe is good;

6) The rotation direction of the fan shall be determined electrically, and water and oil leakage, vibration, abnormal noise and odor shall be checked.

2. Startup of centrifugal fan

1) Start the fan (pay attention to whether the operation is stable);

2) After the fan is started, gradually open the air damper until the actual production air volume is required; When opening the damper, pay attention to the running current of the motor to prevent the fan from overloading due to excessive opening of the damper;

3) After startup, the bearing temperature of the fan shall be tested, and the bearing temperature rise shall not exceed 40 ℃ of the ambient temperature on site;

3. Inspection of centrifugal fan during operation

1) Listen to whether the fan operates stably, whether there is abnormal sound or friction;

2) Check whether all anchor bolts are loose;

3) Check the temperature and lubrication of the bearing;

4) Whether the cooling water of bearing lubricating oil is unblocked and whether there is temperature difference in the inlet and outlet pipes;

5) Whether the bearing box has lubricating oil leakage;

6) Whether the bearing box and bearing have abnormal noise and rotate smoothly;

7) Check whether the current operation is stable;

4. Emergency shutdown of centrifugal fan

1) The fan is found to have violent noise;

2) The impeller has friction with the casing;

3) The casing vibration suddenly increases;

4) The bearing temperature rises continuously and exceeds the allowable temperature rise range;

5) The sudden rise of current cannot be recovered within 2 minutes;

6) Serious oil leakage of bearing box;

7) The cooling water is interrupted for more than half an hour.

5. Shutdown of centrifugal fan

1) Now stop the fan after reducing the load;

2) Close the inlet and outlet valves of cooling water;

3) If the hot air is transported, the fan shall be stopped after the heater is stopped until the outlet air temperature of the fan decreases to 40 ℃;

4) After the fan is shut down, open the drain valve at the bottom of the casing for drainage; At the same time, close the inlet and outlet damper of the fan.

6: Precautions for selection of leaching fan in leaching workshop:

The fans in the leaching workshop include the fan FN300 matched with the leaching scraper, the mineral oil FN361, the DTDC fan FN305, and the leaching workshop sweeping fan FN381. In addition to meeting the process requirements, the selection of these fans must also require explosion-proof. The drive of the fan should not be belt driven, and the fan speed should not exceed 1440RPM.
